First it was a young woman in Santa Barbara, and yesterday it was a young woman in Seattle.

The kindness of strangers... each had a young man they didn't know, stop and hold them and comfort them until help arrived. Each young man called their mothers for them and stayed with them. Each thought they were dying. The first one made it, I hope the second one made it, too.

It's heartbreaking {#emotions_dlg.crying}

Just what I thought, too! Smile

I saw the first two interviewed together. They both said they had a bond that would last forever.

Yes, it is heartbreaking Noel, it put an immediate lump in my throat and I don't even know the circumstances. I hope both of these little girls (and it doesn't matter how old they are) have survived.

And the hero student, Jon Meis, who stopped it from getting any worse. What a brave young man, a hall monitor with pepper spray, amazing!

Sarah, the young lady from SPU, is in critical condition. Jon, the heroic young man in the photo is home with his family and is highly regarded by everyone who knows him. He is engaged and will be marrying soon. What a young man.

Thank you Seattle.

We here in town are still numb. It has been a hard time for all of us. I know it affects everyone in the country, but it has hit hard here.

I am praying for stronger gun laws. please, please, please. They had a fairly good law after Reagan was shot, and it was allowed to lapse. We need it back.
