CNN said she was found in some sort of restraints, sad to say but with some of the stories you hear these days what does that necessarily mean?
I hadn't even heard about this story until today so I don't know.

I'm glad she was found alive and reunited with her family. Today's news said her abductors were 2 females. That is very unusual and sent up a red flag for me.

Very glad that she was found alive. Didn't I hear that two women kidnapped her and are 'at large'? Or maybe it's another case. All in all, now-a-days, it isn't a good idea to go jogging alone on roadsides. Better to jog or walk with other folks, even if you don't know them. At least they can help or alert authorities if someone else attempts to assault, or worse. It's just not safe to walk alone, imo, on less-traveled roads/paths/parks, etc. We have to be on the alert, even re: mountain lions, bears, snakes, coyotes, etc. There's always something to worry and be alert about..................

Local news reports say she was "bound" and has several injuries. She was taken directly to a hospital. They wouldn't say if she has been sexually assaulted.

All the stories I read stated that she was dropped off by two women. That doesn't necessarily mean that they were the ones who abducted her, although I think they were surely participants if what happened was truly a kidnapping. There could be more (male) involved here too.

Beautiful girl. 'You don't know how many times' (a lot) that I've warned (hinted) young women and/or teens to not walk home alone at night. To those I know or to moms/grandmoms/aunts/etc. who frequently complain about them not paying attention, etc. (I don't go around 'warning'/hinting to strangers, jfyi.) .......... Anyway, Some deal with the public (all sorts of customers) in their various part-time jobs, and a few still continue to walk home late nights in the dark after work. Probably while texting, too. Makes me nervous just thinking about it. ............Please be clear: Not placing any blame on this victim. In a 'perfectly safe' world, there should be no need to look around and worry about anything. Now-a-days, though, it just isn't safe to do a lot of things that we were used to doing in the past. .......... All in all, very glad that she was released and will survive. Better than a much worse outcome.

Other cases of faked kidnappings or planned disappearances make us skeptics imo.
Very costly investigations. Dateline etc. make us aware. Glad she's safe whatever the case.

The police are said to be looking for other suspects. The two women had at least one gun. I assume this is info that she gave police.
If this is a true crime it could be they thought they could get some sort of ransom for her. But I think they would have contacted her husband. Or it could be related to human trafficking. Or they are just sick sadistic people. I hope if she went through this hell she can somehow overcome it.
