You're right @YorkieonmyPillow
Especially now, it seems.

I just checked online because of your correct comment @YorkieonmyPillow
There are numerous reports on line of rising crimes against women in America. I can think of several news stories lately of women attacking other women. There was one recently of a woman pushing another woman on the train/trolly tracks, and a video of a youngish woman running up to an 85 year old woman and shoving her to the pavement. It's terrible.

@Mmsfoxxie wrote:@hoosieroriginal, so sorry this happened to you. This is my worst nightmare.
A few years ago, I read about a woman murdered when she drove her car into her garage. (Inside the garage was her way to get into her house, like mine). Apparently, when she let the door down, two men slid under the door before it went all the way down. They killed her and stole her car which is how they connected them to the murder. They killed her to get her car because they needed the parts from her particular model car. They had trailed her home.
@Mmsfoxxie - my daughter said "mom, if this could happen to you, it could happen to anyone because you are soooo careful and aware of everything around you." You think you would react differently, but things happen so fast you haven't got a chance. I'm so lucky nothing else happened to me.

Were you diagnosed with a concussion? I ask because because that could have happened from blows to your face and you describe the same symptoms my daughter is going through from a recent car accident.
@Noel7 - it's likely I did. I don't think they ran tests for that. I went to neurologist after neurologist thinking I had brain damage, but it was PTSD - it would happen at the strangest times. Once I was stressed about having to pick out paint for my house before the weekend. My granddaugher was with me and I felt it coming on and dropped everything at the paint store and hurried her home and called her mother. I fell asleep for hours. It's just how my body reacted to stress after that happened. My eyeballs would flop from side to side - I had no control over it. Once I went on meds, I was fine, but that was years later.

Well, actually @hoosieroriginal, you did have brain damage. But it was emotional instead of the physical which the doctor would have seen.

@Mmsfoxxie - so true. It was actually my family doctor who finally diagnosed it and put me on the meds. Everyone else thought I was having a form of seizure the way my eyes would react and the exhaustion after the episode happened. There were several days after the attack that I could not remember anything. People had come by to visit and I didn't remember that and still to this day those days are blank.

I'm really glad they came up with a medicine to help you, I understand what you went through, seeing my daughter have the same symptoms. Yours was not an easy path, especially with PTSD added to it.
She got confused when she was stressed trying to do a lot of math reporting, and said she had trouble seeing then, also confusion. It's been months since then and it still happens, although less frequently.

Hi @Mmsfoxxie
They can't really see a concussion unless there is also bleeding in the brain. My understanding is they diagnose from the symptoms presented. In a way it is damage to the brain taking a hard knock against the skull. Hopefully it heals.

Hi @cherry
Someone mentioned that earlier, there were comments using her maiden name. Authorities apparently thought it was a hoax.
Yes, an awful thing to do to her, but there are a lot of awful people out there we have come to realize.
I doubt she would have the strength to post at all.
