 I also agree that it's not in our best interest to be out alone in rural areas, there's just to much evil around.

I have offened wonder myself  how anyone  can  be  so  cruel. 2 weeks ago I was watching  the  funeral  of a Police  officer  that was  killed here. Three boys  ages 14, 15 and 15 ran him down  on purpose.  As the chief  of police  spoke he said " There are two kinds of people  out there.  One kind are the sheep. These people are the ones that are law a biding,  good people.  The other kind are the wolves. These people are the kind that all they think about is killing sheep. How they got to this point only they know. The Police are sheep herders, all they can do is try and keep the sheep save from the wolves." I thought that was an interesting  analogy.

From the very beginning, I suspected this kidnapping to be related to human trafficking.  Sherri Papini is a very attractive woman, and I think she was an easy target.

Perhaps it sounded differently when the chief was  actually speaking, but I think that's a bizarre comparison ....  comparing people to animals.    The "Sheep" connotation often implies someone who follows along blindly ....  but even as "law abiding good people" ....  why compare people to animals?    JMO

Not sure why some are assuming that the two women who dropped her off were actually the abductors.   It seems more likely (to me) there were men involved in the abduction .... and, for all we know, those women are beaten on a regular basis.

The police are smart to say very little until they have captured and have an air tight case against all involved.

Probably because the police keep referring to  2 Hispanic women as her captors.  It is also reported that based on information received from Sherri, they are looking for the 2 Hispanic women, armed with a handgun and driving a dark SUV. 

If there were others involved, that information hasn't been released.

in order to capture these people the police need all the info they can get.  the fact sherri said they were hispanic will help to find them.  this is not racial profiling at all.

I am happy that she is back with her family, where she belongs, and that she is getting the medical care that she needs.  I believe she will need a good bit of counseling and a lot of moral support to get through this (I am not sure that anyone can fully recover from a kidnapping and torture).   Her husband will also need some counseling.

I sincerely hope that they get these women who did this to her before they do this to someone else.

For those who are runners, make sure to have a running partner.  It is just not safe to be out there alone, no matter what time of day.  I used to run at 11 p.m. every night until a dead body was found nearby.  That was a long time ago, but I now am never alone in any secluded area.  Too many crazies out there and we seem to have more every day.
