There are multiple threads on the same subject every day here, no biggie.....
lol @KingstonsMom Pearley always gets annoyed if there is another thread regarding a subject she or her buddies have already started a thread on, lol. Not sure why it bothers her so much. Seems like such a silly thing to get worked up about.
LOL @HappyDaze It bothers me when people don't follow internet chat board netiquette, just like it bothers me in person when people don't have manners. Easy peasy explanation, got it now?
If you don't know the netiquette rules, google them.

Really? Such a strange article referring to them "skipping town". They went out of town, and had a friend stay and take care of their two dogs. Why is that so damaging? I would probably want to leave town too, imagining the paparazzi and attention they are getting. I can't imagine why the journalist referred to them leaving as "skipping town" as though theyre criminals. Really strangely worded article IMO.

I'm with you @Mrsq2022
The Papini family is staying elsewhere because they fear for their safety and the safety of their children, they have received numerous DEATH THREATS.
And they are being condemned for that? Good grief.
Friends are said to be taking care of their pets.

i'd want to leave town too and disappear. wishing them peace.

The neigbhbor said they weren't ever coming back. If that's the case, the dogs are abandoned. It doesn't say the friend was staying there caring for the dogs - just that he was there to walk the dogs.

WHY?
They fear for their lives and the safety of their small children because of death threats.
Can you even imagine the looky-loos coming to their home, because they are.
Are you saying YOU personally would stay in a situation like that, along with small children?

@Noel7 Read my post above.
And you are reading into my post waaaaay beyond what I wrote. What I wrote doesn't say anything about my staying. However, I would never leave my dogs; I wouldn't go where I couldn't take them with me. Why do you read things into posts that aren't there or make assumptions from a post. Nothing about my post indicates I would stay in that situation. Sheesh

No, the neighbor did not. To be accurate, he said:
“I don’t think they’re ever coming back here again.”
A neighbor "doesn't think" and you are condemning the family because of a rumor?
Who would blame them anyway if they didn't return to the scene of their horror?
