Road ahead will take courage and strength. Same is true for her husband and family members. Deepest scars can't be seen. Truly believe in prayers along with proper therapy. Individual needs are different, PTSD effects other aspects of the victims life as well as close relationships. Family probably also need therapy separately. Hope the media will respect the need of privacy. Survivor myself can't imagine dealing with media & public under magnifying glass.

I thought of PTSD also. I would think it will be a long time until she and her husband rest easily. And the children... to see their mother that way will be horrifying.

Reminder for anyone on the west coast:
GMA will have a report on this, probably on their 7 am news. Off to watch it now...

I read what else they did to her (no, I won't mention it here), but it is just sickening the level of depravity.
I would not be surprised if Sherri is not these two women's first victim.
I don't know how it is even possible to recover from something like that.
My heart goes out to Sherri and her family.
They have a long, hard road ahead of them.

Yes, they're obviously twisted, this might not be their only crime, especially if they get away with it.

Whenever I read horrible stories such as this, and the things people do to children and animals, I wonder how the heck people can be so cruel and what has led them to losing their humanity. And these are only the stories we read about; Lord only knows what others go through daily that go unnoticed. I only pray all victims of terrible crimes can find peace of mind and heart at some point in their lives.

I just read there was an anonymous donation of $100,000 for a ransom . They say it might be given to the family. I hope it is. She is going to need help

A new thread for this? We were already discussing updates on the other thread.

Memories are always close. Reason originally spoke out in another thread few started doubt the victim. So important not to jump to conclusions. See this situation. I'm okay, Thanks for caring.💗
