I love his story too...but look at how dehydrated he is in that picture...he looks like a bodybuilder in a contest...not healthy for man nor beast!

I missed the race but heard he was the favorite. From what I understand, they think there is potential for a Triple Crown. Congrats to the owner and trainer, and of course Cali Chrome, beautiful horse! ${#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}$

This is the first California winner since the 1960's. The owners paid $6,000 for California Chrome's mother and the person who sold her said only a jacka-- would buy her. Who is laughing now?
