Cairn With Barfing Issues (posted previously)- Update

An update on my Cairn Terrier who was barfing up his food a lot & losing weight - the Vet finally found a hard round place in his intestine & X-rayed. To make a long story short - Nick had abdominal surgery & they found he had surgery sometime in the past & the scar tissue had calcified evidently & the intestine was wrapped around that. So, they removed the scar tissue & part of his intestine. The Vet said he was surprised anything could get through that intestine. My boy is recovering now & looking good so far.

Can anyone reccommed a good & tasty soft dog food that does not have to be refrigerated? He will spend a few days in the Kennel over Thanksgiving & I would like to provide them with the sort of food I described above.
