I wouldn't worry about any overall loss.
Sorry Noel, I repeated what you said.
Ooops, I didn't see that! Hi MK
I've never seen that kind of small clinic around here, imo it's a great idea. Sometimes all you need is prescription cough medicine or some antibiotics.

There are smoke shops everywhere in So Cal. Usually, the parking lots are filled. It never ceases to amaze me that so many will continue to smoke. It costs a great deal of money to care for those who's health is robbed by smoking.

Thank you, VanSleepy. I appreciate the explanation very much. I really was going to Google it later, but you've saved me the time. ![]()

Hi rondell
I recently read that in the Bay Area, about 13% are smokers, and in the Los Angeles area it's even less than that.
Not bad!

Well, perhaps they have plans in the works to phase out those other products as well. When you are making changes to a business model, it takes time.
I agree about the alcohol. It always seemed weird to me that a drugstore sells alcohol and cigs.

I agree. If this is the first step towards getting rid of all unhealthy products, then I say good for them! I guess time will tell.
I also think it's weird that a pharmacy sells alcohol. I think that should be left up to the grocery stores and beverage stores but that's just me.
