We were on vacation in Rhode Island this summer and passed a one story home painted as the American flag. I had never seen that before, but did see some posted here.

Forgot to mention--  Carley's latest exhibit,  "In the Wake of 9/11-- Robert Carley's American Journey",  has been running this summer at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, Connecticut, but can be caught there only until September 12.   He seems to have periodic exhibits around the country though.

You know me - I'm terrified of bees.  But these guys are a favorite of mine, too.   I've seen them here at the Reno Balloon Race over the years and got a few cute pics.

@hayseed00,  the sight of that little car, with its now-famous and reverberating motto "Let's roll",  from Flight 93, really got to me too.  Those passengers who took a vote, and then acted in unison to try to stop the attackers-- they can never be praised enough.
