I enjoy one cup in the morning.  Sometimes it's soooo good, I crave a second cup.  But if I go to the trouble and make it, I usually only drink half of it.  So it's a waste.

I like organic coffee (already ground).  I go for a French Roast which has a full 5 stars for strength.  Am told I make it extremely strong.  lol

I use raw organic honey, just a half teaspoon and now I use So Delicious creamer---gave up dairy a few weeks ago.

Love weekends when I can sit and drink a cup with DH in the morning.  He gets up waaaay too early for me to do that during the week!

If you like liquor in your coffee you must try "deviiishly burned coffee", a coffee cocktail invented in New Orleans during Prohibition.

Cafe Brulot Diabolique

1/3 cup curacao

1/4 cup brandy

10 whole cloves

3   cinnamon sticks

1   orange, quartered

3   cups strong black coffee

3-5 teaspoons sugar

peel of lemon

Simmer orange curacao, brandy, cloves, cinnamon, lemon and orange peel, in a 4 quart saucepan, over medium high heat.  Using a long match CAREFULLY ignite and cook, swirling pan until flames die out.  Stir in coffee and sugar and cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.  Strain into brulot or demitasse cups.

ASouthernGirl:  I'm going to try this one!!  Only I think I'll try making it in a crock pot/slow cooker on High setting.  I'm afraid to use the match, etc.  (I know, it wouldn't be the same.........)

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
