@YorkieonmyPillow, CO does have the death penalty. He took a plea deal to avoid the death penalty.

Such a tragic loss for the wife's family. I can't imagine losing my daughter & grandchildren in such a horrible crime.

At least he is off the streets and in prison where he can't harm others who are innocent.

CO does have the death penalty; that's why he pled guilty to avoid it. His life sentences are consecutive so there is no chance that he will ever get out of prison.

I understand what you are saying but the victims family doesn't have to live thru the next 10-15 years or however long that process takes, and they can try to forget him, and try to live as best they can
