CNN news What Amazon wants to do

This was in the news concerning Amazon. Amazon now wants to deliver packages via robots as one day delivery instead of 2. They have parted ways with FedEx in it's air service. There is growing competition between the two. Amazon will invest 1.5 Billion dollars for an air hub

The robots will be new, improved drones that are quiet and will drop off packages on steps or porches of houses.

That is one service that I will never use. I certainly don’t want my packages dropped on my doorstep so someone can steal them! All of my packages are handed to a real life person & kept safe.

I set up profiles on UPS and FedEx so packages are always delivered to my back door. It keeps them out of sight if I'm not home.

We will get used to it and we will all love it......Amazon is the best.

Soon every other company will follow suit..........

Look at Walmarts new announcement , with their food delivery service...lol.. They will even put the perishables in your refrigarator for you.............lol

I know Amazon has been working on using drones for awhile. Very interesting!

I am certainly not home every time I get a delivery from any shipper.

All of my packages are dropped at my front door.

I can count on one hand the times I have been home to have one handed to me.

No problems at all.
