I agree. I eliminated all Major Risk Factors as possible, but! As I have said many times to many heart patients: "I did not get to pick my mother"!
What one eats can be 1 of the many Major Risk Factors for Cardiovascular Disease, thus a possible heart attack. Is it in Major One? That I cannot and will not guess, and all the research done has not shown that to be conclusive. While I have never become a Vegan(Plant based only food program) I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for over 30 years before my 1st heart attack.
All lipid readings were low where necessary, and high when HDL. Active physically? Check. Genetic Predisposition. All males on my Maternal side died before age 60. All her sisters/mother and father died of heart disease.
Now to the topic of PE. I don't know him or of him, but I fortunately am still alive after 2 different PE events. A total of 17 days in the hospital on Hephrine, and 7 long years of Coumadin/Warfarin Blood Thinners. Full blood draws at least 3 days a week, on average, over those 7 long years. Some weeks I had them 7 days a week.
Whatever is causing his issues I hope the answers are found.
