I didn't feel safe either but could not avoid going since some things I cannot order online or for pickup. Wear a well-fitting mask, wash your hands and take wipes or hand sanitizer with you. I put a wipe around the handle of the shopping cart. Use sanitizer as soon as I get in the care and wipe down my car door handle and steering wheel. Place bags on he floor when I get home not the countertop. So far so good.

I only do grocery pickup and am finally able to get hand sanitizer again.  Just the past 2 weeks. I get my limit of 1 and will keep doing so, for the foreseeable future.  Can't get lysol spray to save my butt though and i refuse to walk into a store.

-------

When I was in Walmart, a couple of weeks ago, they had a lot of hand sanitizer.

All different sizes.

I did some errands a couple of weeks ago.

I didn't see anyone, without a mask. Stores were social distancing.  No problems at all.

I do fear, that, if Fear, becomes the #1 factor, in some people's lives, mental health issues, could do more damage, than Covid.

You are lucky.  I have not seen a can of Lysol in months nor any disinfectant wipes.

Our stores are not putting limits anymore (why bother no one complied) because we have "self checkouts" in our stores.  During the past 2 weeks the shelves have been well stocked.

I picked up wipes (Lysol & store brand) for the teachers we have "adopted".  If I see them, I always get 2 containers.

What's not been easy to find: Antibacterial liquid soap by any manufacturer.

Things are semi-back to normal and frankly, if people didnt have 😷 you'd never know🤷‍♀️.

In fact, they aren't even enforcing 😷 and long gone are the "sanitized carts, wipes, etc." and limited # of people entering places.   Only other shoppers are policing people...I assume stores other than Kohl's, Target, WM are taking the "stance" we need our employees to continue keeping businesses open.

In fact, Publix just started sanitizing carts again this week.  Most likely, customer complaints to Corporate.

Everytime I see the 5-pack of Clorox wipes at my Costco, I grab up one package! The Costco employee says that they only last about 4 hours when they get them in and you are only allowed one package.

I guess we all have to decide what is best but i have been going out to stores since it started. yes I am a senior with insulin use diabetes and have had open heart surgery plus other things going on. i am not going to live in fear. i do take precautions but was just recently happy to get back to my water aerobics. as my kids have said "cant keep mom home".
