Just bought my high schoolers their rings this year and they were some mystery lifetime metal for close to $500 each!

I lost mine when a house I lived in was broken into. LOL, actually, I wish I had never even bought the ugly ring anyway, since I hated school so much.

Was it Celestrium? I see that on the list for daughters college. Ladies 430.00 compared to the gold prices I posted earlier. Males also 430.00.

Never bought one; didn't need the symbolism.

DH still has his somewhere in the archives. I have no idea where it is and I would bet he doesn't either.

I wish I had mine! My grandmother bought all us grandchildren our class rings. Sadly I left mine on a radiator cover while washing my hands and someone stole it until I went back to look for it :-( It was a 14K gold ring with a starburst blue stone in the middle.

PS) I recently asked my oldest granddaughter (who is in 11th grade), if she wants a class ring (that I would buy it). She said she doesn't want one. (I was hoping she would, but maybe she will still change her mind).

Ours is Herff Jones, Extreme Aurista, looks like 14 gold, had to look it up.
