I agree!   The average poster here is not the average QVC customer at all.  Not by a long shot.

I didn’t realize that. How do we differ from them? Not being funny I am really curious. 🙂

The biggest thing is that a high percentage of posters claim they don't watch QVC, they never buy anything from QVC, they think the shipping charges are too high, they want bargain basment priced clothing.  There's a constant stream of complaining and bashing about all things QVC.  If that were common to ALL QVC customers, QVC would have gone out of business years ago...LOL   No business could ever survive with so many "non customers".

@chrystaltree Thanks.👍

Putting CIJ on Q3 would be tantamount to sending it to Siberia.  As much as I personally hate this programming, I know this isn't going to fly.  They expect to make money on it, and they won't do that when most viewers don't have access to it.

i am fine with keeping it on the main QVC channel. i do enjoy the shows. hard to believe they will be starting in just about three months!

anyone who doesnt really care for CIJ can watch QVC2, QVC3, BEAUTYIQ, or choose something else to watch!

@PINKdogWOOD   Just my thoughts:  I think Christmas in July is one of Q's best profit makers so it will probably stay on the main channel.  It sets the tone for the final business quarter of the year by reminding folks of what is in the wings for the fall/winter holiday rush.

If you read through old threads about this in the Holidays forum people even make special arrangements, and have gatherings to watch it.

Before I retired I used to arrange to take the kickoff day for it off if I could get clearance.

I always tune in and even when I think that I don't need any more Christmas items for decoration, for instance, I usually find one thing that I just must order.

It also gives me a preview of possibilities and new ideas for the holiday season.  For instance, two years in a row I ordered a Christmas tree, one a Hallmark, and then then the Valerie Parr Hill tree.  I also ordered her revolving stand and a Nativity set.

Some people don't want any part of this because it's too soon for them--want to enjoy summer, etc., but businesses wouldn't do it, including QVC, if it didn't affect their bottom line in a very positive manner.

If CIJ on Q3 kept it off of regular Q, I'd be all for it.  However, since I don't really watch much because of the lousy programming (aside from CIJ), I'm probably not the best one to ask.

I kind of watch based on what's posted here.  Someone always knows about an upcoming TSV, or a day of Silver Designers, or a bunch of handbag shows, Fashion Day, etc.  On those days I'll flip on the Q and see what's going on.  Other than that, QVC has been demoted from by "background noise" channel.
