This was enjoyable to read - thanks for posting Churchill's speech. I forget that his mother was American. Also, that was a neat tidbit about his getting honorary American citizenship.

I think that it could also be said that America was there for England at the time of her most horrific crisis. At one time, the British were convinced they would eventually be speaking German.but for the grace of the Almighty.
