Wrong. He'll be thrilled that more lions survived. If the lions are killed by other lions, that's fewer lions for him to kill himself.

The skinned carcas was left for other animals to feed on. By the time it was left in the elements, the meat wasn't fit for human consumption.
His hide, paws and head were returned to the court by his Guide, per court order.
I read that the park plans to do a memorial in the park using his remains.

By the time they're grown, he'll be hunting them down too, sadly.
He's already shown that he has no moral compass, much less respect for the law.

Thank you so much for this information. I've searched, but found nothing. Do you know if we have any intention of returning this killer to the scene of his crime? I say SEND HIM BACK as a lesson to future "hunters".

This reminds me that one of the arguments of the proponents of trophy hunting is that the villagers get to eat the meat of the hunted animal. In the case of eating preadator's flesh it isn't because the people need nutrition. It is their belief that they will acquire the power of the animal. Village women and children are probably prohibited from consuming it.
