CAN'T GET MY WOLFGANG PUCK STAINLESS STEEL GRILL PAN CLEAN

i made hotdogs without using too much oil in the pan and it blackened something awful-some very dark spots where the hotdogs were and all over black every where else including on the sides-I tried scrubbing with a micro sponge and got some off and tried a britsle brush...it just will not clean-

I hate stainless steel pans and will never buy one again.

Re: CAN'T GET MY WOLFGANG PUCK STAINLESS STEEL GRILL PAN CLEAN

I normally love stainless steel pans, because a little Brillo or SOS pad will clean them right up. However, if your Wolfgang Puck pans are like the two I have, with the mirror type finish, you can't use Brillo pads.

I've had a few stuck-on messes and found that if I make a paste of baking soda and water, the Wolfgang Puck pans clean right up, and there is no damage to the cooking surface.

Barkeepers Friend always works for me. Sometimes, a little kosher salt on a sponge or Borax on a sponge will work, too, but BK has always worked for me.

One way to reduce cleaning efforts for stainless pans is to put water in the pan, bring to a boil on the stove then clean with a scrubbie.
