Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

[ Edited ]

@Lindsays Grandma😮 Bless Lindsay's heart! My heart sank when I read about her seizure!😢 Since it has been a few days since your post informing me of such, I am praying that God wrapped his loving arms of protection, and comfort around her, and that everything is now ok.❤🙏 I know how difficult witnessing it must have been for Stacy, AND you!😐

My update seems rather insignificant in this moment, so I will save it for another chat. Does she have a history of seizures, or any other medical condition that could potentially have caused it? I will eagerly await, and check frequently for your response. PLEASE know that I hold your family in prayer🙏, and that each of you are nestled in my heart. Take good care dear friend.❤

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@SandySparkles ...Your kind words as usual touched me deeply.  Several months ago Lindsay had a seizure, doctor wasn't too concerned.  She doesn't have any health problems that we know of so of course that came out of the blue.  This time, I witnessed it and I pray I will never see anything like that again and I pray Lindsay will never have another one, ever.

Lindsay spent three days in the hospital where they ran all kinds of tests and came up with zilch.  They are guessing she is nervous and prescribed medication.  Isn't that always the way it goes?

Stacy is going to take her to another neurologist and right now Lindsay is scared and really nervous and I can't blame her.   Stacy is thinking it could be epilepsy but if it is wouldn't the tests have shown it?  Epilepsy causes seizures, so maybe it is a possibility but I'm not playing the guessing game.  I'm waiting for another doctor's opinion.

I apologize for upsetting you while you are involved with family and enjoying yourself.  After I hit the send button I kicked myself but it was too late.

I'm looking forward to hearing what is going on there in Costa Rica and the beaches sound divine.  So, until I hear from you again, my thoughts are always with you and of course I always look forward to hearing from you.  Take care my friend, wear the masks, stay safe and healthy. Woman HappyHeart

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@Lindsays Grandma , I hope and Pray that the Doctors will at least find out what's causing the seizures. I know it's scary. Most likely they will give her some kind of medication to prevent it.

All the best to you, Lindsay and her Mom.

@Lindsays Grandma I am SO GLAD that Lindsay is home, and doing well!😊 Sometimes, conditions are difficult to diagnose in a hospital setting when they are no longer acute. Thank goodness she is going to see a neurologist! Let us hope that a diagnosis will be forthcoming, so that she can begin a treatment plan if needed. It is a blessing that she has age, and otherwise good health on her side!👍

Currently, the weather is 90 degrees here with a slight breeze! If the beach calls me today it will most assuredly be MUUUUCH later; after my walk to the market.😁

I have discovered a coffee shop with delicious cappuccino, fresh breads, and healthy food options.😋 For breakfast, I order the Tico bowl. Mine consists of avocado, slices of local cheeses, a fried egg, rice, sauteed yams, and black beans. For some reason my computer is wonky today, and I am unable to post a pic, so I will wait until I return to The States.😊

I will keep checking in for updates on Lindsay! With you there, I KNOW she will be well looked after. Those doctors better watch out.😂 Please give her the warmest hug🤗, and tell her she will remain in my thoughts, and prayers.🙏 Take good care, dear friend.❤

@SandySparkles ...   Again, as always, it is delightful to hear from you.  Lindsay was examined by a neurologist while in the hospital and Stacy will be making an appointment with another one for a second opinion.  Unfortunately Lindsay had a panic attack this evening and as I was attempting to soothe her, the a hole ( her so-called father) told me to "Get away from her."  Stacy was at work.  He proceeded to take her to the Dignity Urgent Care a few blocks from here.  He thought she was having a seizure and of course one doesn't stand a person up and walk them out of the house, etc. if they that is the case, but Mr. Stupid's brain does not work at full capacity.

She is very nervous and scared so the medication she is taking hopefully will keep her calmed down.

So glad you discovered a new coffee shop that has food you enjoy.  I love the sound of "fresh breads" and I can imagine how enticing the aroma is. The main thing of course is that you are enjoying your stay there.  I realize it is not entirely a pleasure trip so hopefully you are getting bits and pieces of the good things thrown in.  So far it sounds as though you are.

You have no idea how envious I feel when you mention "the beaches", it brings back so many, many enjoyable memories.  So, on that note I will say so long for now, miss you, and along with the rest of the world keep praying for the end to this horrible situation we are living with.  Some good things are happening though, life isn't all bad, a lot of it is what we make it.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention Zuki, how could I have done that since she is driving all of us crazy!!!  She is just a very exuberant dog.  Nothing is safe, and that includes countertops, she wants a bit of anything and everything she can reach.  Woman LOL

@Lindsays Grandma  sorry to hear that Lindsay is having panic attack. My son suffered from panic attacks and all he wanted was peace and quiet when it happened. There are breathing techniques that they can show her, but noise is not allowed.  They can't concentrate with all the noise. That means no talking either.

All the best to Lindsay. It will get better.

@Sage04 ...Thank you for you thoughtfulness.  She is having the panic attacks because she is frightened, I wish I could wrap my arms around her and make it all go away.  I will pass on what you said to my daughter, I will be forever indebted if it helps.  Heart

@Lindsays Grandma 😮 I was so hoping for good news for dear Lindsay, and am saddened to read that she is that frightened! It bears repeating that you being there will INSURE that she receives proper treatment.👍😊

Thankfully, your ex-son-in-law's lapse in judgement did not create a serious problem for her. I just think his actions were motivated by fear, and he  panicked in the moment; as can happen with anyone. However, his continuing DISDAIN for you is very disconcerting. When I read about it, I want to spit hot nails😠, but know that you are MORE than capable of handling his negativity.😁

I do not know what my daughter and her husband would have done, had I been unable to make the trip! They are extremely busy from sun up, til sun down; as is my toddler grandson; hence Nana is TOO!😂 Typing this post is taking greater than two hours; to give you some perspective.🤣

It has been insufferably hot these days; NO surprise there-whew! I have finished cleaning for the day, and will be off to the beach soon, so my grandson can burn off some of his "frenetic energy". Hopefully, the clouds will bless us with a  blanket of relief.🤞

As for Miss Yuki, I suspect she is at the age where SHE is the "QUEEN" of the castle; rrrruling her rrrroyal subjects. Please give her a playful pat on the head for me.😁

I am sending warm regards to EVERYONE; with special hugs and prayers for Lindsay.🤗🙏 Take good care, dear friend.❤

Re: CALLING OUT TO SANDY SPARKLES

@SandySparkles ...Hello again my friend. You never did tell me what your grandson's name is, and I am sure you are enjoying him every minute.  I think I enjoyed being a grandmother more than a mother. Somehow it's all very different because at the end of the day we can kiss them goodnight knowing that Mommy gets up in the middle of the night if needed.

As for my ex son-in-law, if I told even half of the things he does and says you would be petrified.  This is a very sick individual of whom I won't go into detail since this is not private.

As for Yuki, Stacy keeps saying, "She's a puppy."  I realize that, however, I keep reminding her to start with the training, the earlier the easier and  the better.  She does listen when I speak, she knows I mean it.

Poor Lindsay, she still is not feeling 100%, the seizure really frightened her.   Once the medication starts to take effect I'm hoping it will do the trick, I hate to see her this way.

Greater than two hours to type the post, that little one sure does keep you busy, but you know you love it.  I've been living with Stacy and Lindsay almost from the day she was born except for a year and a half when I lived alone.   Of course before she started school she was in day care and or pre-school so that did give me a break.    You have to let me know if being at the beach tired him out for a good part of the rest of the day.

We are having our usual cold rainy days here in AZ, it's winter.  Sadly winter is way too short here, the temperature will be rising late in late March and from there it keeps going up and up.

It's after mid-night and I promised myself I would shut down before 1:00 A.M. so I will say good night my friend.  Take care of yourself, hug the little one for me.  As always I will be looking forward to your next communication.  Heart
