@SharkE ...not an epilator, more like a shaver. NuBrilliance and Flawless make 2 really good ones. Great for peach fuzz with no pain or irritation.

-------------------

A year ago, I started using the Flawless and it works well!!  Of course the hair grows back, but I check every day or so and just mow it down!

I also have realized that the top, round, golden deal needs to be changed every so often; other wise the chop is not sharp.

I also keep one in my car.  There is nothing better than the rear view mirror for finding that

stray hair or two!!

@SharkE   You are right epilator = pain....but it does get better over time and if you use it regularly it is almost painless.  Is the 18k an epilator or a shaver?

That mental picture made me laugh.  Nope, I'm not going through all that.  I have a can of ladies shaving cream and I have those cute little plastic razors and every couple of days, I put dab of cream on my chin and whisk, whisk, whisk those pesky hairs away.  Takes all of 8 seconds.

Re: By The Hair Of My Chin-y Chin Chin

I'm only 64 so I guess I haven't seen this yet, but if I did I would epilate them off.  That way, at some point, the hairs will stop growing.

I've had areas where I've epilated for years and most of the hair just doesn't grow back anymore.  Did my forearms only once, like 15 years ago, and the hair never came back.

On areas I've done many times, like legs, there are so few hairs and I tend to miss them.   Every now and then I'll see some inch-long hair on my legs and, of course, am horrified.  But since I stopped having to deal with it on a regular basis, I just don't think about it anymore.    I probably have 6-10 hairs on each leg now.

I spent a small fortune 60-70 on a 10x mirror with a real good light from

Story:   I was outside one day talking to my Aunt and all I could see was on her chin one long hair sticking out of her chin like a cat whisker. I didn't say anything, but, after we finished our discussion I went in house and ran for my mirror LOL     I don't want people looking at me like "what"? "what"?

ROFLMAO

LOL!  Your poor Aunt...you let her walk around like that for all time LOL!!  If she's that difficult then nobody will say anything to her about it and one day she'll find it or some man will point to it and say "hey what's that on your chin?" What a nightmare LOL!!

Some in-home permanent hair removal devices have both IPL and RF technologies. What this means is that the IPL targets hair that is darker while the RF(radio frequency or elos) targets the lightest or gray hairs. These devices are made to work on all hair and skin colors. I have one and it works very well. @dex

Yep, that is something else that hits us when we are aging.  My sister purchased one of those 18k things that removes the hairs in a flash.  She loves it.  Says it really does a good job, and it not painful at all.  Actually uses it less than she did when she was using the tweezer.

They don't work for me. I have to go get my lip and chin waxed once a month.

Re: By The Hair Of My Chin-y Chin Chin

Believe me, I feel your pain. And I will notice these little rogue hairs when I am out and about with no way to remove them. I need to get some of those little timmer things, have one in my purse, one in my car, and one in hubbys truck.

And all this, while the hair on my head is getting thinner.
