Butchering the English language

I watched a gemstone jewelry show about 3am this morning. I seldom watch at that time anymore as I just can't stay up!

I have seen the show host Rachel a few times before, and there's something about her makes me uncomfortable. So.....I don't watch. But I was interested in the jewelry, nothing else on, so I watched.

Is she channeling Shawn or something. If she said "gorge" in describing jewelry once, she said it 25 times. Then there was "easy peasy peasy." I didn't even know what "gorge" was till she said it 10 times. The speed talking and made up words make me crazy. These are public speakers for heaven's sake.

I don't find this "cute and refreshing." It's just awful in my opinion.
