Businesses adding "Service Charge"

We just got back from the Kierland Westin in Scotsdale. It seems that "service charge" is the new way to get more from each guest! I went to the salon and was told that there would be a 20% sc. I just assumed that the tip was automatically added on. No, when I signed my cc slip there was a line to add gratutity. I said pointing to the sc lline "does this amount go to the stylest?" She said that is your service charge!

Hubby plays golf and has a coupon for 20% off next round of golf. so next day he plays a nd presents the coupon and was told you are already getting the resort price.

Law now says that airlines must include all fees when quoting ticket prices.

Just had to vent. Now I feel better.
