I was very sorry to hear this. He was a real movie star, who gave us hours of enjoyment. He looked quite ill in his last years. Rest In Peace.

Very sad to hear. Condolences to his son Quinton. I believe he had true regrets about ending his relationship with Sally Field and never really found happiness after that. He was incredibly good looking when he was younger.

Loved him in Smoky and The Bandit movies, as well as Boogie Nights and others......Will always remember how much he and Sally Fields were in love.......He has really looked frail and quite ill these last few years....RIP Burt!!!!!!

   Burt Reynolds recently said in an interview that Sally Fields was the love of his life.He said he never stopped loving her.

  I was always a huge fan.He was so good looking in his heyday.I loved Burt in the Smoky & The Bandit movies.I watched all of his tv shows.My favorite was Evening Shade.

 Thanks for the memories Burt!! RIP!! 💐

I've been seeing "Gunsmoke" on one of the retro channels, and discovering how good he was as the blacksmith and Matt Dillon's friend in that.  At the height of his success and popularity he seemed to be everywhere, and was a wonderful and entertaining story-teller in interviews.  RIP.
