Burglary charge in missing 13 yr girl in Wisconsin

BARRON, Wis. (AP) — Prosecutors have charged a man with burglarizing a Wisconsin home where a couple was killed and their 13-year-old daughter went missing, but authorities say he's not a suspect in the case.

Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says 32-year-old Kyle Jaenke-Annis was arrested over the weekend at the home of James and Denise Closs. The couple was found shot dead early on Oct. 15 and their daughter, Jayme, was missing. Authorities believe Jayme was abducted, and she has been ruled out as a suspect in her parents' killings.

According to the complaint, authorities discovered Jaenke-Annis in the Closs home early Saturday, the morning of the couple's funeral. Jaenke-Annis told investigators he found the house unlocked, walked in and took some of Jayme's clothing.

Fitzgerald did not say why Jaenke-Annis was cleared of any involvement in Jayme's disappearance. He is due in court Nov. 7.

There's more to this got to be, so strange why would they go after her clothes if she's dead which is a good thing. Why risk going to steal them. Furthermore why isn't it locked and guarded crime scene.

Why did he want some of the girl's clothing, if he isn't involved in her disappearence? If he doesn't have a daughter that age and size, he's up to no good.

Even if this was supposed to be a simple burglary to this guy. Rocks rolling around in his head just simply walk in and steal her clothes. I just can't get over this. Really stupid guy must not know 2 ppl were murdered there and she's missing.

I just read an article that said the police were watching the house through motion activated cameras.  They knew right away when he entered the house.  He took two tank tops, dress and underwear.  Said he was curious what size she wore.  He can't be right in the head.

Why was the house unlocked in the first place? This sounds really bizarre.

I think the detectives know a whole lot more about the disappearance of the girl and the murders  than the info being given out to the public.    Stay tuned.....
