Bunion surgery

Has anyone had bunion surgery? If so, could you tell me your results and has painful and waht is the recovery time?My right foot as a bunion not real bad but enough to cause me to buy wide shoes. Which are hard to find in good brands like Clark, Ecco.

Any info you can share will be appreciated
