Re: Bunion surgery podiatrist or Orthopedic surg?

I was going to have surgery once, and I saw a podiatrist that did surgery.  Not all of the do.  I would trust either, if it is a simple bunion.  Podiatrist that do surgery, do a million of them  most common surgery the do.  Check your doctor out on vitals, etc.  even check help   Some podiatrists are just not very good.

I went to orthopedic surgeon. I had seen his work and got a recommendation. I was happy with him and his work.  I don’t know that he specialized in feet.

@esmerelda    My ortho surgeon said he did not do feet., or the hands lol. He goes to the wrist, then goes to ankle  lol.

@Wricardos  Please go to the orthopedic surgeon. While podiatrists certainly have their place, they do not have the same medical credentials and can only do surgeries on the foot. I had a podiatrist work on my foot and it is a mangled mess.
