I've saved a few items from my cart and thought they might go down in price today, instead they have increased in price. I should have bought them a few days ago.

Q does it every year.... let the items sit in the ware house.

Let them sit in your cart for awhile and check it daily.  QVC idea of clearance is not really all that.   I'd wait until free shipping promotion appears.

I would just buy if the price was right and I really wanted the item. 

QVC will give you a price adjustment if the price drops in the next 30 days.

Better to jump on it with the way the Q does their pricing.

They are the only company I know of that raises their clearance prices up and keeps stock in warehouses for years.

I laughed out loud last week when they presented a pair of jersey Koolaburra PJs.  Very thin cheap looking fabric they claim was $71., now "on sale" at $54.

I'm tired of all the companies (and posters, too) telling me how much money I can save if I shop with them.  Unless someone is going to make what I choose totally free, I'm not saving anything -  I'm spending.  With my morning coffee today, I went through Costco's most recent list of "sale" items -  barely an actual cost page after page.  

If I were to go to the large mall just 2 hops and a jump from my home, I most likely wouldn't find better old clothes than what is already in my own closets.  I can wear them without spending anything at all.

@millieshops  You have a point about comparable prices,  BUT,  it's not about spending money if you AREN'T looking to shop,   It's about spending that money if you ARE looking to buy.

@candys mine    We don't really disagree, but I do know that in many ways the language used manipulates the actions we take.  To the extent I can outwit those who would separate me from my money, the more I have to spend on what is meaningful to me.

It's a wacky world when the price of items on clearance increases, not decreases.
