Just a sweet little story about big Buddy, who has been a part of our family for two weeks already! Yesterday afternoon I purchased a choke collar for him so I can try walking him on lead. As soon as I pulled it out of the plastic bag he came to my side, sat and wagged his tail until I tried it on. He really liked it and seemed to recognize it as something that he is familiar with. I decided that I need to take it back though and purchase the next size up. (24 inches). I took it back off of him, put it back into the bag and placed the bag on my kitchen table. He sat there at full attention looking at the bag for the longest time. I went to get my shower and when I returned, he had taken the bag gently off the table and chewed the bag apart to get out his new choke. I just had to laugh at him...loved that he recognized this as a familiar item and that he wanted to keep it. I told him that I would goto the store later today to exchange it for a larger one that will more comfortably fit him. ~~~LOVE~~~
