@MamaWick This morning while walking the dog a doe crossed on front of us about 25 feet away. She stopped and looked at me I called to her recognizing she is the mother of the twin yearlings. A fawn came out of the woods and followed her. We waited because she
watched behind as another fawn came.
After the fawns were in the woods she watched me I'm certain, for a treat or apple. I had none with me.
When I fed them the does would wean the fawns on feed. I'm sure she will miss the food especially with twins again!
I hadn't seen her in awhile and thought she might be having a new baby. I just hope a car doesn't hit them!
The yearlings are on their own now she will chase them off and I've seen them alone. One is a doe the other a buck.
I love them! 🦌
