I believe Bryan Kohberger faces the Judge today.
I think the Judge will be/has changed for Bryan Kohberger
And I think it's been changed to an Open, vs closed Trial
Ashleigh Banfield (NewsNation) will keep us Up to Date.

He is being arraigned for the charges handed down by a grand jury last week. There will now be no preliminary hearing, and the case will proceed to trial.

Will it be aired on TV? I'll check in at Court TV.

I don't think trials like this should be televised; look at how the OJ Simpson trial degenerated into a circus because of the cameras.

I heard that Kohberger "stood silent" and did not enter a plea, so the judge entered a not guilty. Trial set for 10/23?

It's important for trials to be public so we can determine if they are fair or not. When more citizens want to attend than can be accommodated, having it televised makes sense.

He is in the courtroom now the judge entered a not guilty plea for him since he and his attorney declined to enter a plea vocally. Standard procedure. The trial will be October 2. He won't be due on court June 26 as previously scheduled.
Nancy Grace says he can watch anything he wants on cable tv right now while in jail, so he loves watching news about himself. Such a narcissist. Just seeing him in court creeped me out. Grace also mentioned the other college student he faked a break-in for that someone else had posted about. He put the security cameras in her apartment as a favor. He could then watch her all the time....she has to be totally creeped out and feel so violated. No telling how many other things like that, or worse, he has done before the murders.

I heard that Kohberger answered "yes," (per charge) to:
1) ~"Do you understand the charges."
2) ~"Do you understand the consequences of guilty?"
But when the Judge asked, what do you plea, his lawyer jumped up, & spoke, pleading, "SILENT."
As a consequence, this new Judge then entered "Not Guilty," as a plea consequance..
Trial is currently slated to begin on October 2nd.
Only a few days ago, I heard it will be an open Court Case, now.
Under the prior Judge, it was to be a closed Trial, I understand.
Ashley "Banfield" on NewsNation station will keep us as fully informed as possible.

I agree with part of what you've stated here. As far as "fair or not"! Like many other things, this unfortunately, comes down to interpretation. Only those on the Jury Panel get the Instructions, and from my Jury Panel experiences, there can be limitations to specific charges.
The word fair? Just as many other things in life, that is a very subjective word.
As I have mentioned on these, and other forums, several times before. I loved sitting on the many Jury Panels I was fortunate to be chosen. So being able to watch this trial for me would be greatly appreciated.

On Chris "Cuomo" Show on NewsNation tonight, I heard him refer to the "Dateline" episode on Bryan Kohberger, so I looked it up.
I havent seen this yet, but this episode appears to be:
Dateline S31 EP15
"Killings in a College Town"
(1/13/23)
"Latest in the invesitgation into the murder of four University of Idaho students."
(This episode appears to be at least available on Peacock, at least)
