Why was she sobbing?
@Judaline I believe the survivor who gave this statement referred to one of the victims as crying and a male voice saying I'm going to help you. I don't think she said that the victim was sobbing. Also it was after she heard the crying and the male voice that she opened her door and saw the man dressed in black passing by her door on his way out.
As far as the survivor hearing his voice in court the tape of him speaking to the police during traffic stops has been played over and over.

"Fair" is a relative term when it comes to a trial like this one... I can't imagine watching a trial like this but I know some people thrive on this kind of stuff...I hope they would not show graphic evidence out of respect for the victims and their families. I think Kohlberger will feel like a real celebrity if the trial is on tv....he loves the publicity. A real twisted person.

I guess the judge will decide if it will be televised.

You are totally correct. But I think a lot has been learned about televised trials since then. I watched most all of the Simpson trial.
I think we citizens deserve to see the justice system in action. The only thing that concerns me is if it were to affect the jury's decisions. Like being afraid to give a certain verdict.
Otherwise, we taxpayers pay for it, and we should be able to see it unless there are mitigating circumstances.
