"Four Islamic terror suspects have been arrested after British police uncovered an alleged plot to assassinate the Queen of England, according to The Sun in the UK.

The knife attack was planned for Friday during the weekend’s Royal British Legion Festival, a military bash held in Royal Albert Hall. Cops caught up with the suspects on Thursday night in separate raids in West London and Buckinghamshire.

The four suspects are between 19- and 27-years-old.

Both the Queen and Prime Minister David Cameron were informed of the potential threat.

The 88-year-old Queen will still attend the Sunday Remembrance festivities as planned, The Sun said."

I've talked to my friends in England and there has been no mention of a plot to assassinate the Queen on reputable news outlets such as the BBC, ITV, Sky, The Times, The Telegraph. All of the "news" sources on this go back to the Sun which is known for printing sensationalism and gossip.
