Re: Brick and Mortar Shopping

I do a lot of online shopping but I also do a lot of Christmas shopping in stores. I love to see the items this time of year.

I have not shopped in a B&M store in years but today I was meeting some friends for brunch and they were running a little late and I noticed a Kohl's store within walking distance.    I have never been in a Kohl's store.    I walked in and I was immediately overwhelmed by all the racks packed to the gills with nothing I would be interested in.  I did need a nail top coat and quick dry and OPI was slightly discounted so I did buy something.   I know some of you are fans of Kohl's and my sister is too, because she is always talking about having to use her Kohl's cash but I guess if I felt like digging through the racks and racks of stuff maybe I could have found something but at first glance it was a huge pass for me.   I know my body. I know what size I am and I know what looks good on me and what I like, so online shopping is my preferred way to shop.

oh and the store was huge and basically empty

Re: Brick and Mortar Shopping

I prefer online. I really don’t need anything as I am retired & have plenty of clothes. I don’t like clothing that is handled by others. The only thing that I might buy at B&M would be a coat but I don’t need one. If I did, I’d go up my local Nordstrom to try it on and then, order it online. Nordstrom is free shipping.

Went Christmas shopping for a new baby in the family as I like to feel the softness in that case & so does everyone else. I found things I liked but ordered online.

I use to go there to try on clothing but haven't been back on over 2 years now--not a fan of crowds or stupid people not wearing masks---
