I've flown in and out of LaGuardia many times but if I have a choice I fly into Newark or Kennedy. Even in good weather it's scary to look down and think you're going right into the water.

The plane stopped INCHES from Flushing Bay! We're talking INCHES! It was definitely the passenger's and crew's lucky day.

Living in NY, I was very surprised to hear this breaking story. The snow was really coming down at 11:00 this morning. As you could see from the passengers walking away from the plane, there was a lot of snow on that runway. I don't know how they could have allowed a landing in that weather.

I used to travel a lot, but never booked any vacations during the Winter months. Oh, well. Different strokes for different folks. Some like the adventure. Safe travels to all, always.

Yes! Very lucky! It could have gone into the water and in very bad cold weather.
