I love breakfast for dinner. I love pancakes but hate syrup so I take a bag of frozen blueberries and put them in a bowl with a little sugar or honey and microwave til warm. Then I add a little lemon zest and put on top of my pancakes with some real whipped cream. Yum!

I love breakfast for dinner, but not vice versa. I have to have breakfast food in the morning.

I don't think it's unusual at all. When I was a kid, we loved it when my mother made pancakes and sausages for dinner. It was a treat. When my girls were young, we often had breakfast for dinner and not just because they loved it. After a long day at work and shuttling the girls around town for dancing/swimming/skating lessons it was asier for me to fix cheese omlets and toast. Even now, there nights when I have a bowl of oatmeal with strawberries for dinner. Dinner food for breakfast is different matter; I never do that. Probably because my stomach can't really handle heavy food in the morning.

Same in my family - as a treat - pancakes/waffles for dinner. One of the few times we were allowed to eat in front of the TV!! My parents were really old school!! Smiley Happy I often have oatmeal or cold cereal for dinner - quick and easy!!

What I eat has never related to the time of the day. Have no idea where this ""what to eat and when"" was formed. I do know the healthy way to eat and certain foods at certain times has absolutely nothing to do with it. Hey! If breakfast means bacon and eggs to you?

I'm thinking of fixing French Toast for dinner tonight, it just sounds good. I'm having one of those backwards days, ate leftover Chinese at about 10:30am so that was breakfast/lunch. I say there is nothing wrong with eating what you want, when you want. Like Andrew Zimmern says... If it looks good, eat it! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

We often have breakfast for dinner. A big favorite here is...... fried eggs over cooked potatoes bacon and onions. I often have a egg beaters omelet when I've had a big lunch. But we don't have dinner for breakfast!
