@chrystaltree.  I believe you're mistaken; they are not Q employees.

You don't know that anymore than I know that they are QVC employees.  We are just stating our own opinions.  Neither of us is right, neither of us wrong.

I remember QVC advertising for vendor reps a few years ago and the going rate was 800 dollars. I don't know if that was 800 dollars an on-air appearance or what. I think the Q wants these people to have a degree in something to sell these products so I guess they warrant the title Brand Ambassador.LOL

@blackhole99

That's interesting -thanks for explaining.  The QVC vendor for Delisioso deserts , Gina Gannon, also works for my local news station.  She does weather and traffic reports.  She also does local TV programming in our area, sort of 'soft news', like weekend events, what to do around town, restaurant reviews, that sort of thing. Good for her - raking in the dough.  Why not.  She is pretty and I think has a lovely speaking voice.

Interesting.  It's pretty much what I thought.  QVC hires people to present and be the face of the product.  Brand ambassador is good name for them.

Not too long ago, on the QVC website, they were advertising for Brand Ambassadors under job opportunities.  Whether they are full on employees or contractors, they "work" for QVC not the brand.  With some exceptions of course.

The term is so pretentious, like they’re on the same level as a United Nations Ambassador, or a United States Ambassador to a foreign country. Lol.

All they are, are salespeople describing products from a particular company.
