Re: Boring Day for Shopping on Q and HSN

Maybe you don't need jammies or wrinkle cream...but maybe others do!

I don't understand why we all think QVC has to present ONLY what we are interested in!

And YES, the hosts are correct.

TONS of people are working from home.

Remote working has mushroomed around here by leaps and bounds.  Most I know are STILL working from home and the companies are continuing w/ that.

Sounds logical I guess.

Who would want to shop on TV 24/7 ?  Must be more to life than that . I did it too , many years ago watch 24/7 . Now I never look at their program . I am so dismayed that I have boxes of clothes and stuff from them stacked in the basement . Now that I am retired , l sure wish I had all that money back I spent on stuff l don’t use because I got caught up in the sales pitch .

Why have similar items on both channels on the same day? I bought a laptop on HSN, and it now needs to go to the repair shop. Hopefully not a flaw in the laptop or a virus. I'm hoping something I'm just ignorant typing in.

So not watching today. I agree. Boring. Not boring, watching news networks about potential war.

To tell you the truth, I never even look at the daily offerings. I don't spend hours on end watching the shopping channels. Sometimes when I scrolling through the guide I'll check to see what they're airing or I may turn it on for background noise, but that's it. I rarely know what's on at any given time except I know they'll be airing the TSV at midnight and noon without fail.

Raining here today, but I did go to the gym at 7 am for 1 1/2 hours just like I do every Monday.

I agree and think many days recently have been filled with uninteresting offerings.  Sometimes I switch to watching the Weather Channel rather than QVC.  I know there will be some new excitement in the weather programming!

ITA .... just because they are having sales doesn't mean you have to buy even one thing.

It's okay to pass on the holiday sales ...  sometimes you just don't need anything.
