2. Paul Revere and Raiders (simply because I loved Mark Lindsey and wished he had been with a really hot band.  He was good to look at and had a great voice)

3. Too many--Allman Bros., Doobies, James Brown, Ike and Tina, Spinners, Animals, The Band, etc.

Now?  Not much I care to listen to from recent pop music. Never was a country fan until lately and I'll listen to my Okies sometimes:

Back in the day I liked Bob Dylan, The Who, The Doors.

Today I mostly listen to classical music (which I also liked in the 60s) and opera (recordings, sadly, these Covid days).  

Dylan mentioned in a recent NY Times interview that he thought the Eagles's "Pretty Maids all in a Row" might be the best song ever--so I got the "Hotel California" CD  -- and it is a great song. The Eagles were great, too--but I hadn't remembered that song.  So many great songs, so little time.
