As a boomer I know sometimes we get stuck into just listening to our favorite music from the our younger days. But isnt it great when we discover current music thats just as good? What are your current 3 top singers/bands from the past and what are your top 3 current performers? I would like to try some that I haven't given a chance.
My top 3 boomer singers/bands are: (sigh, so many have passed on now)
Leon Russell
Allman Brothers Band
Marshall Tucker Band
My top 3 current singers/bands:
Tyler Childers
Tedeschi Trucks Band
Jamey Johnson

Okay my top boomer bands:
Rolling Stones
Aerosmith
Tom Petty
Current bands:
Samantha Fish (blues)
Rob Thomas/ Matchbox 20
Train
Best I could do, Samantha Fish is younger but the other two have been around a while, but not as long as my boomer bands. I couldn't even name most of the current bands today.

The Beatles of course... but also Queen and Boston come to mind. Just great songs!
as for now.......I really do not listen to music anymore. I do not like current music trends. I like singers who really can sing....who enunciate the words ....who have beautiful voices, Barbra Streisand is one who's voice is pure and clear. No one today alive can sing like her. Maybe whitney Houston....but sadly she is gone😢
