There's going to be a big sewing/needlework/quilting exhibition at the Puyallup Fairgrounds this weekend -- that's a suburb of Seattle/Tacoma.

Now, I can't sew and couldn't learn on a bet; it's just one of those things I can't do. But I love to look at other peoples work, see the machines and techniques and hear about the current trends. I do do some cross stitching and have toyed with the idea of learning to quilt.

I'd love to go to this event but I can't. Why? Because DH and I are pursuing a different dream--we're going to be in Arizona for Mariners spring training. We leave Friday morning and return on Wednesday night.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I'm disappointed...but, in my heart of hearts, I really would rather go to spring training. I just wish I could see both!

And if that's the worst thing that happens to me this week, I'll say special prayers of thanks to the good Lord. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}
