If I weren't here and hadn't seen it, I wouldn't believe it.  The picture on the left was taken about 6:30am.  It snowed 2-3 inches.  The one on the right of the same scene about noon.  It was in the 30s so it didn't just melt; its so dry here in the desert that it evaporates.  This is in the Albuquerque area.  We get to enjoy a snowfall without inconvenience.

@Kachina624  Fascinating!  And as someone who has lived in the Northeast her whole life I completely agree with you that's the best kind of snow!  No shoveling, no waiting for plows to dig out your street, no dangerous driving!

Thanks for the pictures - very interesting!  Did school kids have a snow day?

@ValuSkr    No snow day for the kids.  The ones who live in the mountain district had a 2-hour delay.

@Love my grandkids   I can't believe you'd be so petty to be in a huff because I pointed out that Amazon does nothing and doesn't seem to care if their customers are getting scammed.  Why don't you get huffy with THEM?

Desert weather is always strange to me. In an instant it can change so drastically and then it's gone like it never happened...just like that.
