Re: Bleeding Halloween Cupcakesā€¦.

I think these look fun and delish. Any kind of strawberry or raspberry on a dessert is an immediate yes for me!

I don't find these "scary" at all...

I think they're creative and they look good, too. They'd be fun for a group of older folks having a Halloween party.

Not for kids because the sugar looks sharp. But for the right grown-up October gathering I think they are very apt.

These are kinda cool, but I'm another one who prefers cute Halloween decorations and snacks, not bloody and gory.

For a ghoulish Halloween party, I think the cupcakes are kind of clever. It's clear the red syrup doesn't look anything like blood.

I suppose the clear things are supposed to be pieces of broken glass.  I wonder what they are made of?  Something like the brittle in peanut brittle except it's clear...sugar and light corn syrup, maybe?

@Foxxee I think it's Isomalt

The red doesn't look like blood; I can tell that it's a strawberry or cherry. The spider doesn't bother me at all. The only problem might be that the sugar part is sharp, so not sure if it's for small children.

Overall, the effect is clever for Halloween.

Very creative, but I don't think I'd make them for children.

I'm just not into all the "gore" that seems to be pervasive in everything related to halloween decors, etc.  Things were so much simpler, back in my day!  (I'm very old! ;-))

Very creative.  I only get grossed out at real blood and gore, not simulated depictions.  It's Halloween after all.  (Spoken by a person that bought the pooping moose and doesn't confuse the candy that is dispensed with actual excrement). šŸ˜†šŸ˜…šŸ˜ƒ
