There have been pre Black Friday sales since Labor Day.  I really think that Black Friday doesn't really exist anymore.   I'm sure I will pick up a few things online but not because it's Black Friday....I'll be shopping just because it's Friday and the beginning of the Christmas Season.   I'll shop from my list.  I'm not an impulse shopper.

We are 85% finished with our Christmas shopping. We have been ordering gifts on line on and off for over 2 weeks. Yesterday DH and I stopped at a few places too to get some things. We mostly shop on line, not in stores much.

So basically we have a few gifts to get yet and gift cards (those we will pick up in December). So no I wont be going out shopping but will look on line on Cyber Monday.

However my daughter is going shopping as usual Thanksgiving night at 6 all night long till morning. She will drop off 2 of my granddaughters Thanksgiving night and they stay over and we will be building a ginger bread house! My oldest granddaughter goes shopping w my daughter now too and my son goes with also. They go all over there area and they drive down to Philly too to the one mall to shop. 

PS I used to and I would go out black Friday if i didn't have this bad back but I cant hike stores long and my husband only has off work Thanksgiving and Sunday. So on line is best for us to shop for gifts!

I am finished with my shopping and happy about it.  In fact, some of my gifts are already wrapped.

Before the internet and before Black Friday went totally out of control, it was my favorite shopping day.  My friends and family thought I was crazy.  I would be at the mall at 6:00 with about 10 other people.  I would be finished in a couple of hours, go for a nice breakfast and be home wrapping before most people were out of bed.  Now Black Friday is starting a week earlier online and people start lining up to spend the night in front of stores on Thanksgiving.  I now do most of my shopping online.  I do visit the mall to see the decorations and get in the mood for the season.
