Bittersweet QVC memories for me

I was not sure where to post this but I will start here. Just wanted to share with you. My Mom...the best trusted friend I ever had passed away Sept. 19 2008. My only sibling...my brother passed away 6 months later...Mar. 16 2009. A few days ago I returned to my old home town and my sister in law gave me some papers she thought I would want. In that stack of papers was my Mom's "QVC" book. A little note pad that she kept by the phone and kept track of all of her items numbers. Some of my best memories of my Mom involved going to her house to watch QVC and as she would say "Solve the World's Problems"Smiley Happy We watched "Diamonique Day", "All Day Silver" "Gold Rush" you name it and we watched and ordered! Looking through this little book of item numbers brought back so many memories and the peices she ordered. I look in my jewelry box and there they are! We started a doll collection between the two of us and now I have so many I have to where to put them all...but I remember each one, its name, and the designer. I do not order as much as I used too because the price of gold has gone up so and what they offer on QVC now has changed so much...but oh the memories! We followed Kathy Levine...Judy Crowell and Jeff Hewson and many other show hosts. I still use the Nesco ovens I purchased and love them still. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience with QVC and they are always very helpful. Just wanted to share this story as I knew fellow shoppers would understand. When Mom was laid to rest she wore a beautiful sparking diamonique ring and gold bracelet she purchased. I have not removed that bracelet since that day and it will always remind me of her!
