West Nile is usually given to humans through mosquito bites. in this area we are to report dead birds that are then picked up. We even had a 70 year old woman die several days ago of West Nile. Usually people just have flu symptoms.

I spent summers with my grandparents and that's where I discovered them. Spent a lot of time in those trees pigging out. ${#emotions_dlg.wub}$ ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$ Oh, how I miss them .... grandparents and mulberries. LOL

Yes, they do stain, terrier. Ours is located in a wooded area, luckily. They are very beneficial trees to wildlife so unless they were sprayed with a pesticide, there must be another problem.

You say you have a property manager (condo apartment, I believe?) I would certainly expect the owner of the building to be on top of this as soon as possible.

Scary stuff.
