Besides being extremely bad luck...why would this be happening?
Yesterday two died side by side next to a large tree (maybe an overgrown bush - about 20 feet tall) that has dark purple raspberry shaped berries. They eat them like crazy (and poop them like crazy too.)
Today a bird was just sitting on the grass...didn't move when I came up to it.
Could they be eating the berries and getting high? or poisoned?

Something is getting to them. Please report it ASAP! West Nile is a problem in our area, too.

You certainly should have reported this by now if birds are dropping dead all around you.

Do they spray pesticides around your house?
If so, the birds could be getting poisoned.

Or someone could be maliciously putting poison out? Or maybe there's a dangerous chemical or gas that seeped into the ground?
