Hi everyone! Hot, hot, hot here this week. All I can do outside is start the sprinklers, too hot for any work. I went to the Doctor's this morning, and due to construction in the area, I used the shuttle, as there was no parking. As I got out, I missed the step, and went down on my back. Thankfully, there was a guy who yanked me up. This just reminds me to keep taking calcium.

DD survived her Junior Prom last weekend. Her schoold combines the Junior and Senior proms for Junior and Senior years, so there will be another next year.

I was holding my mug with the tea bag in it the other day, talking to DH, and felt a tug. I saw Remmy chewing on something, so realized that the little bugger had jumped up and snatched the tag off of the tea bag, {#emotions_dlg.laugh}. He is lucky my cup didn't fall to the floor. He is something else! When I came home last evening, he was chewing on something, and then spit it out. It was a tag loop, don't know where he got that.

The girl's personality is finally coming back. After Remmy came, she got very quiet, which upset me because she has a wonderful personality. I am so thrilled that she is coming back. It makes it even more difficult, because Remmy is such a force, but it makes it more fun too. She will get a bath on Saturday, as the ointment I have been applying to the bruise(?) on her chest, has made her greasy in that area. The mark isn't going away, so I don't know what is up.

I broke down and bought a weatherproof dog cot, for lack of a better word, to keep them off of the ground, thus avoiding any foxtails that I missed. I looked out the windiow yesterday, and saw that they were "sort" of using it, they were sleeping underneath it, lol. I had seen Remmy earlier playing on it, and he left multiple twigs on it.

I hear many baby birdies in the bird house hollering for food, and watch the parents flying back and forth with food. Smile

Possumm - glad you got home safe and sound. I don't know how you do it, living in two homes through the year.

Bird mama - Remmy's eye seems fine, but I guess he needs another check up to see if the ulcer is healed. How you can trim bird nails and beaks, when I can't even trim these two character's nails, is beyond me! When DD was little, pigeons were her favorite bird, probably still are.

Meuw - I hope your cold clears up quickly. Do you take D3? Since I have been taking it, I hardly ever get colds.

Winifred - I thought you found Conrad, didn't know you actually went to an organization to get him. I think if an animal ducks when one reaches to pet them, they probably were hit in their previous home. I don't think I have mentioned before that Remmy has one ear cleanly cut, as if someone took scissors and cut off half of his ear. I have seen animals with nicks in their ears, but never something like this. Kids like scissors, so my mind goes there. Smiley Sad

Hopefully, it won't be so hot on Sunday, so we can get some work done in the yard, it never ends.

Have a great weekend!
