Biopsy

Posted on the Wellness Forum as well but for some posters that don't read it,I am posting here as well.

GYN wants to do a biopsy on a uterine fibroid . I am in menopause and have had clear discharge and sometimes it's pale pink tinged. Has anyone had this type of biopsy done in the doctor's office? Hear so many comments from this procedure being no big deal to quite painful. If done in a hospital, this entails all the preparation involved with a surgery(x-rays,EKG,etc) which I wish to avoid.
